On Sunday June 2nd, the Iolanthe Opera Company will return to the 1867 Sanctuary with Voices of Spring: An Afternoon of Opera.
The Iolanthe Opera Company is New Jersey’s newest amateur opera company, bringing non-traditional stagings of Gilbert & Sullivan, Mozart and more to Mercer County. Several talented singers and a cellist will present a variety of rare and well-loved gems by Handel, Gilbert & Sullivan, Granados and more.
Suggested donation is $25. Proceeds will support the 1867 Sanctuary as well as our inaugural production of Pirates of Penzance, aiming to set sail this fall.
Performers:
Jason Adamo, bass-baritone
Elizabeth Axler, soprano
Timothy Faulkner, tenor
Emily Kwak, soprano & cello
Priyanka Mukhergee, soprano
Dora Schnur, soprano
