The majestic stone building \u201cat the bend in the Scotch Road\u201d in suburban Ewing, New Jersey has stood for 150 years as a central landmark in the township, a sanctuary for congregants and citizens, and a gathering place for sacred and secular activities.<\/p>

The\u00a01867 Sanctuary<\/strong>, as it is now known,\u00a0 is currently being maintained and cared for by Preservation New Jersey (PNJ)<\/u><\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>the state\u2019s only member-supported, statewide 501(c)(3) non-profit historic preservation advocacy, education and assistance organization.\u00a0 PNJ assumed total responsibility for the restoration, rehabilitation and re-use of the landmark structure in May of 2012 through a 50-year lease,\u00a0 and has made the Sanctuary a model of the adaptive use of historic structures.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

No longer strictly a \u201cchurch,\u201d the stunning, 200-seat,\u00a0wheelchair-accessible gathering place now serves the central New Jersey and Bucks County PA region, hosting concerts, recitals, theater, entertainment, exhibits \u2013 and, of course, dedications, weddings, memorial services, and other ecumenical and interfaith activities.<\/p>

Located at 101 Scotch Road in Ewing Township, Mercer County, New Jersey, it is easily reached from I-295 (Exit 73), NJ Routes 29 and 31, and US Routes 1 and 206.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
