DESCRIPTION:The Ewing Township Historic Preservation Society presents a very special lecture: \n“Harriet Fisher and Harold Brooks Completed a World Tour in a Locomobile in 1909-1910″ \nSunday\, March 9\, 2025 at 2 pm in the 1867 Sanctuary \nRebecca Urban\, the granddaughter of Harold Brooks\, will present his photographs and his verbal description of this amazing trip during the early stages of automobile transportation. \nAn Anvil Factory Owner (Harriet)\, A Chauffeur and Personal Secretary (Harold)\, A Butler (Albert)\, A Maid (Maria) and a Boston Bull Terrier (Honk-Honk) traveled from Trenton\, New Jersey and circumnavigated the World in 13 months by traveling to four continents and ten countries. \nThis program is co-sponsored by the Lawrence Historical Society and the 1867 Sanctuary. \nFree Admission!
