Washington Crossing – ETHPS Lecture

March 3 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Ewing Township Historic Preservation Society presents a lecture of the book, Washington Crossing, by co-authorsĀ  Patricia Millen and Robert Sands, Jr.

This illustrated lecture will describe the critical importance of the Christmas Day crossing of the Delaware River and the Battle of Trenton to the Revolutionary cause, as well as the story of both Washington Crossing parks that memorialize its place in history.

The authors will describe General George Washington’s crossing with his Continental Army in 1776 on Bear Tavern Road through Ewing, which leads to the Battle of Trenton.

Authors Millen and Sands are both Ewing residents and have dedicated their careers to museums and historic sites in our region.

Free Admission.
