Preservation New Jersey welcomes The Riverview Consort back to the 1867 Sanctuary for their program Shakespeare on Love.

From songs and dances alluded to or performed in the plays to lyrics written by the bard himself, there is a huge body of delightful music that would have been familiar to Shakespeare and his audiences. Just a week before Valentine’s Day, this program focuses mainly on pieces that explore aspects of love. The Riverview Consort includes:
Abigail Champan, soprano
Peter Gregory, percussion
Bill Thatcher, lute, renaissance guitar, recorder, etc.
John Lacombe, lute, cittern, viola da gamba, etc.
