Phil McAuliffe with Guy DeRosa and Noemi Bolton
January 12 @ 8:00 pm
Preservation New Jersey is pleased to welcome back guitarist and songwriter Phil McAuliffe, the great Guy DeRosa on harmonica and Noemi Bolton playing stringed instruments, banjo, mandolin, acoustic guitar and vocals in the outstanding acoustic space of the 1867 Sanctuary Arts and Culture Center. These musicians have musical roots in the Trenton area and decades of touring, live performance, writing, and recording experience. Their sound is an eclectic mix of rock, blues, folk and country.
As a news photographer, many of Phil McAuliffe‘s songs flow from the stories he has witnessed and photographed. A selection of his photographs will be displayed. Phil McAuliffe’s debut CD, The Great Road, was released in May 2017. Phil McAuliffe’s photography can be viewed at the show and at http://philmcauliffe.com/
Guy DeRosa frequently plays blues and country harmonica in the local clubs and halls of central New Jersey. He is also a practitioner and teacher of T’ai Chi and teaches political science and gerontology at Mercer County Community College.
As a kid, Noemi Bolton started playing ukelele and bandoria to Philippine and Hawaiian tunes. She later learned American folk songs with her guitar, mandolin, and banjolele and joined David Brahinsky and Friends to further her interest in music. When she is not performing with the band, she works with clients in her private practice for expressive art and psychotherapy.
