Marc Kaye’s Comedy Connection

September 13 @ 8:00 pm

Preservation New Jersey is pleased to host Marc Kaye’s Comedy Connection once again at the 1867 Sanctuary. This event features professional comedians Chris Coccia, Marc Kaye, and Joan Weisblatt.

Chris Coccia’s act (www.chriscoccia.com) is a perfect combination of hilarious material and the ability to present it “in the moment”. Flowing seamlessly between material and improvised interaction with the crowd, Chris is able to open the audience up as he pulls them into a shared recognition of our own human-ness.

Chris keeps a full schedule working everything from the country’s top comedy clubs to corporate events to colleges. In addition, Chris Coccia won the 2008 Purina Pet Comedy Challenge, a national event with a $10,000.00 prize. He was also invited to be part of the Great American Comedy Festival in Johnny Carson’s hometown, Norfolk, NE put together by the talent coordinator of the Late Show with David Letterman, Eddie Brill. He has appeared on Comedy Central, The Game Show Network, and XM Radio. Chris is also a frequent and favorite guest on several Philadelphia based radio shows.

Marc Kaye has been a regular on the comedy circuit spinning tales of growing up differently, navigating fatherhood, marriage…then divorce… strange looks while traveling and even stranger thoughts when not distracted!

Marc has performed in clubs from CT through Washington, DC on thE East Coast and nationally, as well, often finding that there are no real regional differences that can’t be overcome with humor.

An avid writer and musician, Marc has also developed several scripts, three web series, and numerous articles and written and trained for Fortune 500 Companies.

Joan Weisblatt (joanweisblattcomedy.com) left the practice of law after 30 years, became a stand up comedian and never looked back! Her jokes about life as a lawyer, mother, daughter and aging female will leave you in stitches and begging for more. She loves to get the crowd involved and roaring!

Joan was the regular host of the Gotham Comedy Foundation shows at Gotham Comedy Club in New York City. She won Season 2 of the hit web series Comics Watching Comics, which can be seen on Amazon Prime.

Joan was in the prestigious Ladies of Laughter Comedy festival. You can find her all over the tri-state area at clubs, corporate gigs, fundraisers and private parties, wasting precious hours on Facebook…
