Gordon Thomas Ward
October 8, 2017 @ 4:00 pm
Preservation New Jersey is pleased to present the return of singer-songwriter Gordon Thomas Ward with a presentation, stories, recordings and songs of Ghosts I’ve Come To Know in the beautiful setting and acoustics of the historic landmark 1867 Sanctuary at Ewing set amid the Ewing Church Cemetery!
What ghosts roam within the historic sites and buildings of Central New Jersey? How accurate are the traditional stories? From the shadowed woods of the Somerset Hills to the dappled banks of the Delaware River, Gordon’s stories in Ghosts of Central Jersey: Historic Haunts of the Somerset Hills come to life to deliver a rich mix of factual history and the sound investigation of ghostly phenomena. The combination of an open-minded enthusiasm and a level-headed approach underscores this collection of stories that will inform, entertain, and lead the audience to places where the past is considered to be very much alive and entwined with the present.
Did you ever wonder what’s on the other side? As a well-respected investigator of ghosts and hauntings for forty years and an author on the topic, Gordon Thomas Ward has developed a distinctive approach and body of evidence to support the belief in the survival of the human consciousness after death. This program includes new photos, audio recordings, developing theories, and information collected from his favorite, historic, investigation sites. This presentation will leave you with a fresh perspective on what happens to us all after the transition we call death.
Come early, at 2:30 p.m. for a brief guided tour of the historic, 310 year-old Ewing Church Cemetery that surrounds the 1867 Sanctuary!
Gordon Thomas Ward interviewed 1867 Sanctuary Committee member Bob Kull on Gordon’s These Days radio program on WDVR-FM on Monday, October 2, 2017. (His show broadcasts Mondays at 5 pm.)
