Gloria Galante, Jazz Harp

Preservation New Jersey welcomes Gloria Galante back in a program of jazz for harp. Enjoy jazzy and folk music from this veteran harpist who has performed with Frank Sinatra, Jose Feliciano, Dianna Ross and more.
Versatile and dynamic as a performer, deeply committed to
teaching and to using the harp as an instrument of healing, Gloria
Galante (www.gmgstudios.com) is inspiring. Ms. Galante has a music ministry as she mentors students on each level (5 years to 83 years range her students ages), as well as plays in hospitals and hospices. Gloria, CMP, certified music practitioner plays for Crossroads Hospice as the Gift of the Day Program.
She has toured worldwide playing Classical, Jazz, Latin, African and pop as well as appearing with such greats as Jose Feliciano, Diana Ross, Frank Sinatra, Jr., and Luther Vandross.
Gloria is a member of Moog Endorsed artist the Divine Hand ensemble.net performing Opera music repertoire. Equally dedicated and experienced as an educator, Professor Galante is the founder of WCU College of Arts and Humanities CAH/Harp program (now in its 30th year). Gloria is the director of the WCU
Harp Ensemble, a Musicopia ensemble leader, and serves on the prestigious PA Council on the Arts as a teaching artist.
Along with 30 recordings and compositions, Gloria has released two therapeutic CDs dedicated to raising funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. She is a certified CMP and advisor (from Music for Healing and Transition).
She is making history as the first CMP- certified music practitioner to play for IVF patients to reduce anxiety during transfers at Toll Center Abington Hospital. She participated as a CMP and part of an IVF team of Doctors, nurses, embryologists in a 2 year powered study completed by Dr. Barmat.

The 1867 Sanctuary Arts and Culture Center is wheelchair-accessible through a wheelchair ramp through the gate on the left side of the building. All parking is across the street in the Ewing Presbyterian Church lots, including an inner ring across the street for disabled parking. Passengers may be dropped off at the curb directly in front of the main entrance; please use your hazard flashers when stopped there. Concert parking is recommended in the north lot (by the field closest to I-295). For your safety, please cross at the marked crosswalk and press the yellow button to activate flashers.

Tickets can be purchased online or reserved at the box office for payment by cash, check or credit card by calling 609-392-6409 or emailing email@example.com. Tickets may also be purchased at the door as space allows.
For online purchases, PLEASE PRINT AND KEEP YOUR RECEIPT emailed from PayPal. You will not be mailed tickets. While our notification from PayPal is usually sufficient, the receipt will provide your proof of purchase, particularly for same-day purchases.
**GROUP RATES (10 or more people). Group rates apply only to advance online sales and must be purchased in quantities of 10 or more within a single purchase. Group rate tickets cannot be purchased at the box office prior to the concert.
