Ewing Sings! The Song Heard ‘Round the World

December 7 @ 7:30 pm

In this season of music and celebration a musical offering by Joseph Martin, The Song Heard ‘Round the World, is being presented to the community by Ewing Sings, a choral group gathered from the greater Mercer County. Admission is FREE. A freewill offering will be taken for hospitalized and wounded Veterans.

Every culture in the world has its own Christmas legacy of song. At this time in our history when diversity has become division, we travel the well-worn path to Bethlehem, finding the inns are full, bursting with pilgrims seeking sanctuary. The world offers earnest prayers for peace. Then a still small voice brings a nocturne of comfort and assurance. A fresh, new song goes forth with healing for the nations.

Come to hear the dissonance of hate become divine harmony with music from many country’s cultures, illustrated in colorful sights, and sounds from around the world ending in prayers for peace.

Wheelchair accessibleThe 1867 Sanctuary Arts and Culture Center is wheelchair-accessible through a wheelchair ramp through the gate on the left side of the building. All parking is across the street in the Ewing Presbyterian Church lots, including an inner ring across the street for disabled parking. Passengers may be dropped off at the curb directly in front of the main entrance; please use your hazard flashers when stopped there. Concert parking is recommended in the north lot (by the field closest to I-295). For your safety, please cross at the marked crosswalk and press the yellow button to activate flashers.
