Aaron Larget-Caplan, Classical Guitar, “Transformations”

Preservation New Jersey welcomes guitarist Aaron Larget-Caplan back to the 1867 Sanctuary for his program Transformations.
Virtuoso American guitarist Aaron Larget-Caplan performs a solo program exploring transformations in music from around the world. From Preludes and Landscapes by J.S. Bach and John Cage, to Spanish dances, Russian paintings by Mussorgsky, and a New Jersey premiere by Stephanie Ann Boyd. Aaron is an award winning international touring musician with a missionary zeal for the guitar, Aaron shares stories alongside the music for an unforgettable event.
“Aaron Larget-Caplan (www.ALCGuitar.com) is a riveting artist”(Washington Post) with “astounding technical proficiency and artistic delicacy” (Boston Musical Intelligencer). Aaron is a Stone Records recording artist and international touring guitarist. A deft programmer, Aaron has premiered over 80 compositions, and his groundbreaking arrangements and recording of the music of John Cage are the first sanctioned by the estate (Edition Peters). Aaron received the Médaille D’Etain from the Socièté Académique Arts-Sciences-Lettres de Paris, France His recordings are available on Albany, Navona and Stone Records, and he is on faculty at University of Massachusetts Boston and formerly Boston Conservatory.
The 1867 Sanctuary Arts and Culture Center is wheelchair-accessible through a wheelchair ramp through the gate on the left side of the building. All parking is across the street in the Ewing Presbyterian Church lots, including an inner ring across the street for disabled parking. Passengers may be dropped off at the curb directly in front of the main entrance; please use your hazard flashers when stopped there. Concert parking is recommended in the north lot (by the field closest to I-295). For your safety, please cross at the marked crosswalk and press the yellow button to activate flashers.

Tickets may also be purchased at the door as space allows. (Sorry – we don’t mail tickets. Tickets will be held at the box office and a receipt will be emailed from PayPal if purchased online.)
**GROUP RATES (10 or more people). Group rates apply only to advance online sales and must be purchased in quantities of 10 or more within a single purchase. Group rate tickets cannot be purchased at the box office prior to the concert.
