1867 History Lecture and ETHPS Annual Meeting

November 12 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Step back with us 150 years into the past to explore the time of the construction of the 1867 Sanctuary as we celebrate its anniversary. Special guests at this event will include members of the Ewing Township Historic Preservation Society, as they take their Annual Meeting “on the road” to join with us.

The presentation will first set the context for the year 1867, and the need for the building. Then Professor Aaron Wunsch, Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture and Historic Preservation in the School of Design at the University of Pennsylvania, will speak about the Sanctuary’s architect, James C. Sidney, and his legacy in the Delaware Valley.

Following the presentation by Professor Wunsch, all are invited to share in some birthday snacks.

This event is free, but donations to keep the building standing are ALWAYS appreciated!
