Preservation New Jersey invites you to bring your Valentine (in body or spirit) to Hooray for Love!!!, a program named for the song by Harold Arlen. Soprano Jan Baldwin and pianist Tim Brown will perform love songs (and a few "unlove" songs) from stage, screen, and the American Song Book in the beautiful acoustics of the 1867 Sanctuary.
Jan Baldwin happily joins Tim Brown again for this Cabaret. She was last seen in Little Women at Off Broadstreet Theatre last year. She was also seen there in A Nice Family Gathering, Smoke On The Mountain. She was Reverend Mother in Nunsense in Philadelphia for several years. Among her Bristol Riverside Theatre credits are: Sly Fox, Evita, Zorba, 110 In The Shade, The Rothchilds, The Robber Bridegroom and many summer and winter musicales. She performed with Larry Gatlin in Alive and Well and Texas Café. She has been a cabaret performer at The Stockton Inn, Bucks County Playhouse, Looking Glass Pond and Odette’s. Jan sings with the Capital Singers of Trenton and is the Chair of the Fine and Performing Arts Department at Stuart Country Day School. Jan is a proud member of Actors Equity Association.
Timothy D. Brown performs frequently throughout the area as a soloist, accompanist, chamber musician and chorister. He has served as accompanist for VOICES Chorale, The Capital Singers of Trenton and The New Jersey Gay Men's Chorus and can be heard on their recordings. He currently accompanies the RVCC Chorale and sings with The Madrigal Singers. Also active in musical theater, Tim has worked with many schools, universities and theater companies throughout the area as a pianist, singer and musical director. He appears frequently with Jan Baldwin, in cabarets throughout the area. Tim is currently the music director and organist for Saint Peter's Episcopal Church in Glenside, PA. He maintains a private piano studio and freelances as a vocal, instrumental and dance accompanist.
