Preservation New Jersey is pleased to welcome opera by the International Verdi Society in the beautiful acoustics of the 1867 Sanctuary!
Join the International Verdi Society for an afternoon of scenes in concert from Verdi’s Aïda! The concert features soprano Sarai Cole, tenor James Johnson, mezzo Lorraine Helvick, and baritone Brian Montgomery, accompanied by collaborative pianist Yoni Levyatov.
This is an afternoon for lovers of Grand Opera, Giuseppi Verdi, and Dramatic Singing presented in concert at the historic 1867 Sanctuary Arts and Cultural Center in Ewing, NJ. The Verdi Society will present the inner story of this grand opera; a trifecta of love, hate, and revenge, and, just for fun, greed, a lovers’ triangle, patriotism, and sacrifice ending with death. What more could one ask for? Come spend Sunday afternoon, September 10, with us along the banks of the Nile!
The International Verdi Society was founded with the intention of making Verdi’s music accessible and affordable for everyone to enjoy and to provide talented singers opportunities to learn and perform his music. This is their first concert, and we look forward to what’s to come...
