Preservation New Jersey is pleased to host this performance of the Grove City College Touring Choir in the beautiful acoustics of the 1867 Sanctuary.
The Grove City College Touring Choir, under the direction of Professor of Music, Dr. Katherine Mueller, is a select group of forty-six singers. The choir consists of students from a variety of academic majors and tours annually during the spring semester throughout various regions of the United States. The GCC Touring Choir members desire to make beautiful music using the gifts and talents given them by God. In addition to the spring tour, the choir performs for churches, colleges, and community events in the western Pennsylvania area. Past honors include performing for the Music Educators’ National Conference Eastern Division Conventions and the American Choral Directors Association, as well as performing with Christian artists Keith and Kristyn Getty, the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra, the Erie Symphony Orchestra, and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.
Everyone is invited to enjoy this free evening of choral music featuring works by Bach, Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Christiansen, Rutter, and Whitacre. (Donation invited.)
The Grove City College Touring Choir is hosted by the Presbyterian churches of West Trenton, Ewing, and Covenant.
Parking is free in the Ewing Presbyterian Church lots across the street. Please cross at the designated crosswalk. The 1867 Sanctuary is wheelchair accessible using the ramp on the left side of the building.
